Description:  

ACOM-U8 is an air-entraining agent, which improves permeability and durability in mass and pavement concreting considerably. 

As ACOM-U8 produces huge number of  correctly sized voids in concrete, it can protect the structure against freeze-thaw cycles.

ACOM-U8 is chloride free and complies with ASTM C 260

Uses:

ACOM-U8 is largely used in :

-         Dams and reservoirs

-         Highways, Runways

-         Every concreting project in cold climates

Advantages:

-         Improves workability

-         Reduces mixing water without  loss of workability

-         Decreases water permeability

-         Dose not affect setting time 

-         Reduces risk of segregation intransit

Dosage:

The normal dosage is 0.15 to 0.3 % but the correct dosage must be determine at site by trail and error.

     Application:

     ACOM-U8 is directly added to mixing  water of concrete.
