Description:   

COMEX W9 is a highly effective waterproofing admixture which is based on modified carboxylic ether together with some other  hydrophobic materials.

COMEX W9 is chloride free and complies with ASTM-C494  Type D

Uses: 

COMEX W9 is recommended for use with all concrete in :

-         Water reservoirs, canals

-         Sewerage works

-         Culvert tunnels

Advantages:

COMEX W9 provides following properties:

-         Improves water tightness

-         Improves workability without  increasing water content

-         Increases strength and durability

-         Reduces shrinkage

Dosage :

COMEX W9 is compatible with all type of cement except Type 5. The normaldosage is 1 to 3 % of cement weight.

Application :

Add COMEX W9 to mixing water before its addition to the aggregates.For long distance transportation it is recommended to use COMEX W9 in two stages as below :

 -Add half of COMEX W9 to mixing water.

 -Add the other half at site to the ready mixed concrete in mixer before pouring.
